According to the China Food Safety Network, on December 16, at the opening of the 22nd China Food Safety Conference and the 2024 National Food Industry Science and Technology Progress Conference in Beijing, the winners of the 2023 "China Food Industry Association Science and Technology Award" were announced, and an award ceremony was held. Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress, Director of the China Care for Next Generation Working Committee, and Honorary Director of the Organizing Committee of the China Food Safety Conference attended and presented awards to representatives who won first prize in "China Food Industry Association Science and Technology Progress". Liu Xiaofeng, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the conference to speak and presented awards to representatives who won second prize in "China Food Industry Association Science and Technology Progress". Chen Junshi, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Consultant of the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center; Ren Fazheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Leader of the National School Food Safety and Nutrition Health Expert Group; Xie Mingyong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of Jiangxi University’s National Key Laboratory for Food Science and Technology; Shen Chi, Executive Vice President of China Food Industry Association; Wang Qi, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice President; Zhu Changxue, Vice President and President of China Food Safety News Agency presented awards to representatives who won third prize in "China Food Industry Association Science and Technology Progress".
